Evacuation of Caterpillar 320DL tracked excavator - RDZ Machines

Evacuation of Caterpillar 320DL tracked excavator

St. Petersburg swamps are ready to absorb excavators in any quantity. And as practice shows, you don’t have to go far for this. We received two orders on the same day last week. I went to view one, and Roman went to view the second. The first one was within the city, literally 20 meters from our former base, and its evacuation was not a difficult task. But the second case was much more entertaining and required urgent rescue action. The main interest was the extremely swampy terrain and the impossibility of access from the right direction. There were relatively large trees, but they stood on very loose ground. Everything shook underfoot. On top of that, it immediately became clear that this time they would have to withstand not only the weight of the excavator, but also the weight of the tow truck. There was simply no other position. That is, it was just the case when neither the weight of the tow truck, nor the traction capabilities of the winch solve anything, and one cannot count on the help of heavy equipment. Personally, I really like this kind of work. We hope this video will be interesting and useful. The St. Petersburg swamps are ready to swallow excavators in any quantity. And, as practice shows, you don't have to go far for this. Last week, on the same day, we received two calls for help at once. The first one was within the city limits, and its evacuation was an easy task. But the second case was much more entertaining and required urgent rescue actions. The extremely swampy terrain and the inability to approach from the desired direction was a challenge that we happily accepted. All the relatively large trees around were on very loose ground and everything swayed under my feet. So this time they would have to withstand not only the weight of the excavator, but also the weight of the tow truck. We just were out of options, it was the case when neither the weight of the tow truck, nor the traction capabilities of the winch could solve this problem. Honestly, I do love my job and these tricky situations.
